# Risk governance & oversight

Risk governance is not limited to strategy approval.

The Strategy Council also oversees:

* Periodic review of risk thresholds
* Adjustment of allocation limits
* Updates to economic and technical red flag criteria
* Evaluation of external monitoring integrations
* Approval of model refinements following incidents

If a protocol failure occurs — whether within or outside the portfolio — the Council initiates structured post-mortem review.

The review evaluates:

* Whether the framework identified the risk
* Whether allocation limits were appropriate
* Whether triggers activated as expected
* Whether containment was timely

If gaps are identified, policy is updated.

Risk governance is iterative.
