# How withdrawals work

Withdrawals follow the same logic in reverse.

You submit a withdrawal request by specifying how many shares you want to redeem. Your request is grouped into a batch.

Once processed:

* positions are exited
* assets are converted if needed
* funds are bridged back to the vault chain

You receive your share of the vault’s value in underlying assets (e.g., USDC).
